Implementation
The MERCURY Transition Services team consists of
project managers, migration analysts, and training specialists.
The project manager prepares the Credit Union representatives for
their conversion duties, such as data mapping, data approval, and
report selections. Our analysts examine the Credit Union current
data and write the conversion programs that move that information
to the MERCURY System.
The conversion process can be categorized by distinct phases,
including project planning, data analysis and data mapping,
training, preliminary conversion, client review and approvals,
final conversion, and post-conversion support activities. These
phases represent the milestones and highlights of a typical
conversion and are the activities that are most significant to the
success of the conversion. It is our goal to work with you and
your proven methodologies to develop an implementation method that
is right for the local market.
Training
Educating and
training a credit union staff to use MERCURY effectively is an
intrinsic part of the conversion process and vital to the
long-term success of a credit union. MERCURY Education Services is
dedicated solely to increasing the credit unions knowledge of the
MERCURY system. Each trainer has extensive, hands-on experience in
all functional areas of a financial institution. This knowledge is
coupled with in-depth MERCURY application knowledge. The education
team builds a training program that will take the staff through
the entire life cycle of the conversion and beyond. This expansive
portfolio of instructional services will help the entire staff
meet all of its future operational and strategic goals. Education
Services will work directly with the credit union's senior
management to establish key training objectives and develop a
detailed working document. The plan will also outline which course
should be taken and who needs to attend. Professional trainers
will meet with the staff to understand exactly how you operate,
and then develop a customized curriculum. Tangible, obtainable
goals will be established, monitored and measured throughout the
transition process. It is our goal to work with you and your
proven methodologies to develop an education method that is right
for your credit union.
